The PharmaNutra Group was founded in 2003 in Pisa with the establishment of PharmaNutra S.p.A., driven by the entrepreneurial vision of brothers Andrea and Roberto Lacorte, who combined their scientific and commercial insights to revolutionise the way people approach health.
From the outset, the company has been distinguished by its focus on innovation and scientific research, developing unique food supplements and medical devices that have established PharmaNutra as one of the most highly regarded Italian companies in the nutraceutical sector.
Building on the scientific and commercial success of its patents and its ongoing growth, the Group expanded internationally, establishing two foreign subsidiaries: PharmaNutra U.S.A. Corp. and PharmaNutra EspaƱa, and forming numerous commercial partnerships. In 2022, the acquisition of Akern S.r.l., a leader in bioelectrical impedance analysis, marked another strategic milestone, diversifying the Group's offerings and strengthening its scientific expertise.
