Pharmanutra awards ten graduation prizes to young graduates of the University of Parma
An initiative linked to the Cetilar Run, symbol of the strong bond between the company, the local community, and young talents
Supporting young people, promoting research, and rewarding commitment — these are the core values behind the ten “Pharmanutra” graduation prizes, awarded today at the Science and Technology Campus of the University of Parma.
Established thanks to the contribution of Pharmanutra S.p.A., the awards reflect the company’s long-standing commitment to the academic world and to the Parma community, with which it shares deep and enduring ties. The initiative is part of the Cetilar Run, the sunset race organized by CUS Parma in partnership with Pharmanutra, which this year celebrated its tenth edition — just like the ten prizes awarded.
Each prize, worth €1,000, was assigned to seven graduates from the Department of Medicine and Surgery and three from the Department of Food and Drug Sciences, in the degree programs of Physiotherapy, Exercise and Sport Sciences, Preventive and Adapted Motor Activities, and Human Nutrition Sciences.
Recipients included Gianpietro Favagrossa, Alice Genini, Irene Riccardi, [ADD OTHER NAMES].
The award ceremony was attended by Fabrizio Storti, Deputy Rector of the University of Parma, Carlo Volpi, COO of Pharmanutra, together with the Department Directors Stefano Bettati and Gianni Galaverna, and the Presidents and Vice Presidents of the degree courses involved.
“Today is an important day for Pharmanutra,” said COO Carlo Volpi. “It marks a special chapter in the relationship between our company and the city of Parma, to which we have been closely connected for many years, including through our partnership with CUS Parma for the Cetilar Run. The ten scholarships awarded — ten like the editions of the race — are a gesture of care towards the local community and a further sign of our strong collaboration with the University of Parma.”
“This is a special day,” added Deputy Rector Fabrizio Storti, “celebrating the commitment and dedication shown by our students. Our sincere thanks go to Pharmanutra for its attention and sensitivity, a tangible sign of closeness to the University and, above all, to the young people who will build the future.”
Through this initiative, Pharmanutra reaffirms its commitment to supporting young generations and scientific research, believing that the collaboration between business and academia is essential to shaping a more aware and innovative future.
