The company is UNI EN ISO 9001 certified to operate in a more systematic, organized, and efficient manner, with a constant focus on quality and customer satisfaction, and is SA 8000 certified, demonstrating its commitment to ethical and socially responsible behaviour, with a specific focus on protecting workers' rights.
At its own production facility, Pharmanutra has implemented a management system compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as set out in CFR – Title 21, Volume 2, Part 111 of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), covering the manufacturing, packaging, labelling, and holding of its own patented preparations. This approach ensures full compliance with the requirements for placing safe, high-quality products on the market.
The Group also holds several product certifications, which attest to compliance with specific quality, safety, and accessibility standards:
• Halal and Kosher certifications for semi-finished products manufactured in-house
• CE Marking (Class IIa) for medical devices, issued by the Italian National Institute of Health (Istituto Superiore di Sanità – ISS)
• Play Sure Doping Free certification, issued by Doping Free S.A. and the No Doping Life association, with testing carried out by Bureau Veritas Italia S.p.A.
Additional product certifications are currently being assessed, including:
• NSF Certified for Sport, for approval of dietary supplements compliant with anti-doping standards for distribution in the U.S. market
• Vegetarian and Vegan certification, for products free from animal-derived ingredients, in accordance with relevant international standards
